  7. My grandmother gave me a quilt top with a square for all 50 states. Each square has the state, state flower and state bird embroidered on it. I will cherish it always!

  19. When my daughter was 7, she created a small, blue, fleece wolf with button eyes stuffed with fluff and imperfectly, but beautifully, hand sewn. It is by far my favorite gift!

  34. My grandmother is an AMAZING seamstress and always sewed for me. She tried teaching me, but I had no interest~ boy! do I regret that now. Now I have my mother-in-law sews beautifully~ she made me a fleece house coat that is so snuggly and warm! I love it!

  48. My cousin made a special blanket for each of my 4 children and now is carrying on the tradition by teaching me and my oldest daughter how to sew. Sadly, sewing (and anything made by hand) is becoming a lost art. So glad this giveaway can help carry on the art of sewing!

  67. Favorite gift was a quilt that was made for my son actually - he loves it and uses it eveynight. It's precious. Even though I quilt, it was the perfect gift for him because it was all appliqued ;)

  68. Anything my Dador mom has made me. My favorite now is probably the corner cabinet he has made me. It is a slightly smaller reproduction of a late 1800s cabinet that is in the family.

Some of my favorite gifts that i made are the frog shaped soap dish i gave to my aunt's friend, the cookie i gave my aunt which i personalized by putting her name on it, the blue vase i made for my mom the pink piggy bank i made for my little cousin with a sunflower on the front, the heart shaped ash tray also for my mother, the red pitcher for my aunt and last but not least the replica of my favorite uncle's face. Those are my favorite hand made gifts they were all ceramic
