That soooo reminds me of my childhood (I have three brothers). At one point my folks made us each say something nice about each other during prayers before bed. Sometimes it was a stretch to find something nice to say... lol. Fortunately we all get along great now that we're all grown up. :)
Emily, I feel the same way about our girls. Constantly trying to remind them that the things they say can be hurtful and that they're lucky to always have each other. Some days, just realizing they weren't kind is a step in the right direction!
