I love New Year's Day. I know that REALLY it's just a day, like any other day, but it feels like a really fresh, clean start to me. 2012 is a blank slate, and I can't wait to fill it with awesomeness. Before we close the year, I thought it might be fun to look back at which posts you guys liked the most in 2011.
Looking at this list was funny, because I think of myself primarily as a sewer, but turns out my most popular posts are the crochet posts. I think this is probably because, while there are a bazillion sewing blogs, there aren't nearly as many crochet ones, so people on the hunt for crochet patterns end up here, probably due to lack of options. :)
I also wanted to say THANK YOU to all you lovely people who stop by and read and comment on my blog. Writing this blog has pushed my creativity SO much, in some part because I feel accountable to YOU guys. More than 82,000 people stopped by this little blog in 2011 - WHAT?!?! That seems so insane to me. I started this blog to write about my boys, and what it has turned in to, sort of a creative journal (and a MASSIVE distraction from writing my dissertation), is so, so fun for me. So, again, thanks. You guys are awesome. :)
