The weekend before Thanksgiving, the boys decorated our Christmas tree together. I let them do all by themselves. Riley even put the lights on with a little help - it's just one of those big light nets for outdoor bushes.
Since I let the boys do it, our tree isn't what you would call "fancy".
Our ornaments aren't what you would call "evenly spaced" or "not broken" (imagine me saying that Bennett Brauer style).
But you know what? None of that matters at all when this happens.
He fell asleep while I was trying to take one of those pretty glowing Christmas tree photos. So, I laid him on the blanket and he stayed there most of the night.
Best. Present. Ever.
I'm not gonna lie...I just started to tear when I saw that. How adorable.
