For KCWC Day 2, I made these pants for Riley.
They have back bias-cut pockets,
and an exposed- zip cargo pocket on the side.
Tomorrow, these pants become zip-off convertible pants. Riley has requested the zip-off pants so that they can also be worn as shorts in the summer. He also would like front pockets added, so I'll do that too.
Side note: Does anyone else's kid make this face about 1) button-down shirts, or 2) getting their picture taken? Geez. He's acting like a moody teenager these days.
Fabric: Black and white check shirting from the Lisette collection by Leisl Gibson

Great job on the pants. I think he has a very "model" expression on his face and his tie absolutely rocks.
ReplyDeleteGreat pants and killer model look, it's like his "blue steel"
ReplyDeleteLove these pants, I like that you sew for all your boys, not just the little ones, it seems like so many tutorials and things highlight the teensy wee ones, which I love, but I also love your attention to all your boys...keep it up, I've been a long time follower :)
ReplyDeleteWhat cool pants! Totally awesome!
ReplyDeleteThese look great. I was making a pair of pants with the same fabric when my sewing machine completely broke :-( Hopefully it'll be an easy aka cheap fix & I can finish.
ReplyDeleteLove that pants, so pretty!
