It's Giveaway Day!

It's here again! Sew, Mama, Sew has organized another massive day of handmade giveaways this year!

In the spirit of letting go of some of my fabric stash, I'm giving away 2 yards of awesome Laurie Wisbrun Tufted Tweets fabric!

The winner, to be drawn via random.org at 8:00 p.m. EST on Friday, December 17 will receive a fat quarter pack including all of the prints above, and a full yard of the couches print in red, pictured below.

How do you enter?

Leave me a comment telling me your favorite holiday dish. I'm hosting Christmas dinner, and I need some ideas here, people. :)

And for my followers, leave another comment letting me know you follow.

That's it! Two ways to enter for two yards of fabric.

*Make sure I have a way to contact of you! You wouldn't want to miss out on your big win because I could't find your email. If it is linked to your Blogger profile, that works, or leave it in your comment.*

Good luck!

  6. I'd have to say my fav dish is Ham. My recipe is super easy too:

1 bottle red wine (I use a good Merlot.)
    1 bag dark brown sugar
    1 spiral cut ham

Make a thick paste out of the wine and brown sugar, then spread it all over the ham. Cook acording to ham instructions. It make a REALLY good crust.

Use the left over wine and brown sugar to make a sauce. Just add more wine this time (so that it's less paste and more sauce like) and cook it til it is a thick glazey sauce.

Seriously one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth! :)

And a yummie selfmade cake for dessert.

  47. My favorite food of the season is lefse. But something that we have been craving is, well I don't know what they're called.

Put pretzels on waxed paper, place a rollo candy on top of each one and melt them slightly in the oven (1 min). Take it out and press a pecan into each rollo, effectively sealing the three together. Let cool, if you can. Yum!

Gluten free pretzels make this possible for us, otherwise we can't eat many goodies.
